Everyone's hard work on Terra often pays off in the form of recognition and awards! Here are some major past achievements, as we look forward to many more for the future. You can also review TF web site awards.
TerraFirmA was pleased to be the MUD featured in PC Ace magazine's articles
"Multi User Dimension 1" and "Multi User Dimension 2".
These articles introduce readers to MUDs by guiding them through connecting
to and getting started playing the game on TerraFirmA.
The two issues of PC Ace containing these articles were published in January 2001 in the UK.
The online Spring 1999 Issue of of .net Magazine
included an article on MUDs/MOOs called "Worlds of Words" by Karl Hodge.
TerraFirmA was included in the "Five Top MUDs" section.
The rest of the article talks about concepts in MUDding, some historical
background and jargon and also contains excellent tips on connecting to a MUD.
TerraFirmA made The Mud Journal's Top Ten in the monthly Best Overall MUD poll
for several months in 1999. Most recently, TF placed fourth for November 1999!

TerraFirmA was honored to be named The Mud Connector's MUD Of The Month for January 1999.
In the Summer of 1997, TerraFirmA was one of the topics on the UK television
show cyber.cafe! Several people from the game had a get-together before the
taping (some photos are available at the web site MEET area).
